Program: Career prospects in the welding field are consistently high and skilled trade is in some way related to every aspect of our lives. There will always be a tremendous demand for welders because of the training level and skill necessary to successfully maintain a career in welding. These jobs pay quite well.
The Western Wyoming Community College program offers students three different AAS Degree options, as well as three one-year certificate options. This allows the student to choose the option that best applies to his/her career path in welding. They offer a one-year certificate program in each of the three-degree options. These certificate options consist of 24 hours of coursework in the chosen welding option, in conjunction with 9 hours of Tech coursework including Metallurgy, Industrial Safety, and Reading Schematics. Learn to weld in a program fused together boldly in opportunity.
